It is finally starting to get cooler here in the Kansas City area. It’s our first fall/winter season in the area so I’m not sure if the delayed cold weather is normal or not but we will take it!
Anyway, with the cooler weather starting to set in, we find ourselves wanting a little more comfort food than normal so this week’s meal plan includes both pot roast and chili, two of our cold weather favorites.
With all the extra things to do with Christmas approaching, I tried to keep the dinner prep to a minimum so I also threw some easy meals into this week’s plan including freezer pizza and ravioli. Have you ever had the Aldi stuffed crust freezer pizzas? Soooo good!
Has your to do list gotten busier yet? I find myself suddenly swamped with decorating the house, gift wrapping, writing out Christmas cards, and planning holiday baking and meals! Even with the extra work, this is still my favorite time of the year! 🙂
