Aldi Meal Plan for 4 – Week of January 3rd

Aldi Weekly Meal Plan for 4

We were out of town last week for a post-holiday vacation so I tried to keep the meal plan as simple as possible this week.

After a week of traveling and eating out, we are ready for some meals at home! 🙂

Aldi Weekly Meal Plan: Breakfast Options

  • Oatmeal with Blueberries and Almond Milk
  • Whole Wheat Toast with Strawberry Jam
  • Cereal with Milk
  • Eggs 
  • Bananas
  • Clementines

Aldi Weekly Meal Plan: Lunch Options

  • Ramen
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Sandwiches – Ham or Turkey with Cheese on Whole Wheat Bread with Pretzels
  • Cheese Quesadillas
  • Hot Dogs
  • Leftovers
  • Served with one or more of these sides: Grape tomatoes, Clementines, Cucumber Slices, Baby Carrots, Pickles, Grapes

Aldi Weekly Meal Plan: Dinners

  • Turkey and Bean Chili, Cornbread, Fresh Fruit
  • Roasted Chicken, Baked Beans, Rice, Dinner Rolls, Fresh Fruit
  • Chicken Caesar Salad, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Fresh Fruit
  • Pork Chops, Roasted Potatoes, Sautéed Spinach, Applesauce
  • Fish Sticks, Rice, Peas, Fresh Fruit
  • Carne Asada Burritos (with guacamole, salsa), Refried Beans, Fresh Fruit x2
  • Fresh Fruit for Dinner This Week: Grapes, Cantaloupe, Pineapple

Breakfast Options

  • Oatmeal with Almond Milk and Frozen Blueberries
  • Whole Wheat Toast and Eggs
  • English Muffins with Peanut Butter
  • Fruit: Clementines, Bananas

 

Thanksgiving Morning

On Thanksgiving morning we have a tradition of watching the parade together and eating the following:

  • Homemade Danish
  • Sausage Balls
  • Orange Juice
  • Fruit

Lunch Options

  • Sandwiches (ham or turkey and cheese on whole wheat bread)
  • Cheese Quesadillas
  • Bean and Cheese Burritos
  • Leftovers
  • Mac and Cheese
  • Side Options: Pineapple, Cantaloupe, Grapes, Pears, Grape Tomatoes, Baby Carrots

Dinner Options

  • Smoked Sausage, Beans and Rice, Green Bean Medley, Fruit
  • Meatloaf, Noodles, Mixed Veggies, Fruit
  • BLTs, Fries, Pickles, Fruit
  • Thanksgiving Menu (see below)
  • Freezer Pizza, Tossed Salad, Fruit
  • Steaks, Baked Potatoes, Asparagus/Carrots

Our Thanksgiving Menu

My hubby isn’t a fan of turkey and the kids and I don’t care one way or another whether we have it so we usually have duck instead 🙂  Here’s what we’ll be eating:

  • Duck with Orange Sauce
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Sweet Potato Casserole
  • Old Fashioned Giblet Stuffing
  • Cole Slaw
  • Canned Cranberries
  • Deviled Eggs
  • Dinner Rolls
  • Pumpkin Bars with Whipped Cream
  • Wine and Soda
